The certifying body conducts periodic audits ensuring and validating that Upala Agrícola S.A. complies with all requirements regarding security, personnel, processes, and strategies, minimizing the risk of situations related to the theft and smuggling of products.

Some of the necessary requirements for its certification are briefly listed:

• Be a legally constituted company that actively participates in productive or service activities related to the international supply chain or related activities.
• Have commercial and legal records in its country of origin and abroad. The company must not have a criminal record in its country of origin or abroad, nor in any case be considered by national or foreign authorities as a suspicious person with a legal or criminal reputation.
• Request admission through a BASC Chapter in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the BASC World Organization.
